Purchase Manager- Mart/ Retail

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships for our mart/retail business. The ideal candidate will ensure timely availability of quality products at the best cost while maintaining strong vendor partnerships and controlling inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the purchasing of grocery, FMCG, and retail products for the mart.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory to avoid overstocking or shortages.
• Coordinate with store, warehouse, and finance teams for smooth operations.
• Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitor pricing.
• Ensure product quality, compliance, and timely deliveries.
• Prepare purchase budgets, forecasts, and reports.
• Handle vendor performance reviews and resolve supply issues.
• Ensure cost control and margin improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in a mart, supermarket, or retail environment.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of inventory management and retail operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP / POS systems.

Pay: Rs125,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
