Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Officer to oversee day-to-day purchasing, streamline processes, and ensure smooth production within our organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while contributing to strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and select new suppliers based on price, quality, delivery speed, and service.
• Maintain and update a list of approved suppliers and preferred vendors.
• Develop and manage strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Review, analyze, and approve purchasing agreements and contracts.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery; follow up on back orders and expedite as necessary.
• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Warehouse, Production, Finance) to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or discrepancies with suppliers.
• Conduct market research to identify new products, services, and suppliers.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or delivery.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, ethical guidelines, and relevant regulations.
• Manage and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies with the finance department and suppliers.
