Purchase Officer

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:

· Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for best quality and cost.

· Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries and confirmations.

· Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs with warehouse.

· Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and supplier performance data.

· Ensure compliance with procurement policies and resolve delivery/invoice issues.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

· 2–5 years’ procurement or purchasing experience.

· Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and ERP/purchasing systems.

· Detail-oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines.

· Procurement certification (CIPS/CPSM) or knowledge of import/export is an advantage.
