Purchase Officer

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing reliable local and international suppliers.
  • Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve issues related to delivery, pricing, or quality.
  • Maintain and update procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase logs.
  • Track inventory levels and raise purchase requests as needed.
  • Support documentation for imports/exports and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in cost control by identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal departments (stores, accounts, logistics) to ensure smooth procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Freshers currently in the UAE are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in purchasing/procurement from home country preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
