Purchase Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Officer with experience in the real estate or construction industry to manage procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining cost-effective and high-quality purchasing in line with project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services related to construction and real estate projects.
• Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and update procurement databases.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites as per schedule.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and inventory teams to understand material requirements.
• Review purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with company policies and budgets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor market trends and product availability to ensure cost efficiency.
• Ensure quality standards and specifications are met for all purchased items.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance (delivery timelines, quality, pricing consistency).

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of procurement experience in the real estate or construction sector is mandatory.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with construction materials, specifications, and local vendor markets.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software (e.g., ERP, SAP, or similar).
• Ability to work independently and in coordination with project teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs75,000.00 per month
