Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare purchase orders.
- Procure construction materials such as MEP materials, civil materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams for material requirements.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve any supply issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store department.
- Prepare procurement reports for management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in construction companies.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and suppliers in the UAE market.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP systems.
