About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑driven Purchaser to manage procurement activities for our lighting manufacturing and supply operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience sourcing lighting components, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials required for production and project execution.

This role requires technical awareness, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

  • Source and purchase lighting components, fixtures, drivers, LED modules, accessories, cables, and mechanical parts.
  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.
  • Request quotations, compare offers, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors.

Order Management

  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure accuracy of specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
  • Track and follow up on all orders to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams for shipping, customs clearance, and warehouse receiving.

Quality & Compliance Coordination

  • Work closely with QC and engineering teams to ensure purchased items meet required standards and specifications.
  • Resolve issues related to defective materials, delays, or supplier non‑compliance.
  • Maintain documentation for certifications, datasheets, and compliance requirements.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor stock levels and forecast procurement needs based on project schedules and production plans.
  • Support cost‑saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.

Cross‑Department Collaboration

  • Coordinate with production, project, and sales teams to understand material requirements.
  • Support urgent procurement needs for fast‑track projects.
  • Assist in developing procurement strategies and improving internal processes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in lighting, electrical, or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong understanding of lighting components, drivers, LED technology, and fixture construction (advantageous).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor‑management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
