Purchase Specialist

SUMMARY

To assure the purchasing and procurement for the services and materials that all the company departments needs to carry on the proper activity in the time, cost and quality required. This job is focussed in not critical items.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· To receive and understand the needs from another departments

· Knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures, purchasing sources, prices, market factors, product characteristics, reporting procedures, departmental procedures, and policies; accounting principles and follows controlling state purchasing operations.

· Shop products and/or services for competitive pricing. Place orders for request parts

· Track orders and ensure timely delivery

· Negotiation skills.

· Experience in use of ERP systems, Excel, and other relevant analytics tools

· Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices filed

· Coordinate with project managers and installation supervisors the delivery of the materials

· Support finance department for payments control

· Report and support Purchasing Manager

· Comply with all TKE Company & HSE policy & procedures.


Authorities

All POs, vendor agreements, contract and purchasing decisions must be approved by

HoP


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications and Experience:

· Any technical degree with some basic with basic finance / commercial education is recommended.

· Minimum one years’ experience in purchasing on industrial companies is needed


Knowledge/skills:

· Computer skills needed.

· Required some technical knowledge and also be familiar with payment and commercial conditions (national and international), and negotiation skills.

· Excellent Computer literacy

· Excellent English literacy (verbal & written)


Other languages besides English:

· Arabic
