Purchase & Store Executive

We are seeking an experienced Purchase & Store Executive from the pole, pipe, or steel manufacturing industry to handle procurement and store operations. The role involves sourcing steel raw materials, managing vendors, maintaining inventory, and ensuring smooth material availability for uninterrupted pole and pipe production.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase Responsibilities

• Procure raw materials related to steel poles, tubular poles, octagonal poles, pipes, sheets, plates, and structural steel.
• Identify and manage vendors dealing in steel pipes, plates, sections, and pole-related components.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, freight, and payment terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up for timely material delivery.
• Coordinate with accounts for GRN, invoice verification, and payments.

Store & Inventory Responsibilities

• Manage inward and outward movement of steel poles, pipes, raw materials, scrap, and finished/semi-finished goods.
• Ensure proper stacking, tagging, and safe storage of heavy steel materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP / SAP / Tally / Excel.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and raise timely purchase requirements.
• Control scrap generation and maintain scrap movement records.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of pole and pipe manufacturing materials and specifications.
• Knowledge of steel grades, thickness, weight calculations, and material handling.
• Vendor negotiation and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to work closely with production, quality, and logistics teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical, Production, or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience: Minimum 2–5 years in pole / pipe / steel manufacturing industry (mandatory).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,811.51 - ₹25,436.00 per month
