Purchaser

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Purchaser to manage daily purchases of groceries, vegetables, and electronics. The ideal candidate should have strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase daily required groceries, vegetables, and electronics as per company needs.
• Visit markets and suppliers to ensure quality and best pricing.
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with store/warehouse teams.
• Ensure all purchases are within budget and align with quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain daily purchase reports and bills.
• Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
• Monitor market trends and price changes to make cost-effective decisions.
• Ensure all items are delivered on time and in good condition.
• Follow company procurement policies and approval procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a purchaser or in a similar procurement role.
• Knowledge of local markets for groceries, vegetables, and electronics.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, WhatsApp, etc.) for reporting and communication.
• Honest, reliable, and physically fit for market visits.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc) or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant purchasing experience preferred.
