Job Description: Fleet Workshop and Purchase Coordinator

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

The Fleet Workshop and Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for managing the procurement of spare parts, consumables, and workshop materials for light vehicles, heavy vehicles, and buses, while also coordinating maintenance activities, vehicle passing, and workshop support functions. The role requires close coordination with workshop staff, suppliers, drivers, accounts, and management to ensure timely maintenance, cost control, and uninterrupted operations.

Responsibilities

• Procure vehicle spare parts, tools, consumables, and workshop materials
• Ensure timely sourcing of parts to minimize fleet downtime
• Review purchase requests and obtain quotations from suppliers
• Compare prices and negotiate favorable rates and terms
• Monitor stock levels with the storekeeper
• Verify quality and specifications of purchased items
• Control procurement costs within approved budgets
• Evaluate supplier performance
• Process invoices and coordinate payment documentation with Accounts
• Supervise vehicle maintenance and repair activities
• Support roadside breakdown repair requirements
• Coordinate workshop staff and daily maintenance work
• Manage permit passing for renewals and vehicle sales at least 15 days before expiry
• Coordinate vehicle purchase and sale documentation as instructed by management
• Ensure drivers remain with vehicles sent for maintenance or passing during workshop hours
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and passing requests are scheduled with at least one day's prior notice

Requirements

• High school, diploma, or degree qualification
• Experience in transport, workshop, fleet, or oil and gas sectors preferred
• Hindi and English language skills are mandatory
• Valid driving license required
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Immediate joiners preferred

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

• Mussafah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
