Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Proficiency with purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPP, CPSM).
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting purchasing and contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, finance, and inventory management to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.

  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
