Some College Education:

Several years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management is required.

Need strong analytical abilities to assess supplier performance, cost structures and mkt conditions to optimize purchasing strategies and achieve cost savings.

Effective negotiation skills are crucial for securing favorable contracts, pricing and terms with suppliers.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Proficiency in procurement software, Sage and other relevant technologies is increasingly important in modern purchasing management.

Some leadership is vital

Person will handle significant financial transactions and supplier relationships, so strong ethic and integrity are essential to maintain the company's reputation and avoid conflicts of interest.

Managing multiple projects and deadlines requires effective time management skills to ensure purchasing processes are efficient and timely.
