Purchasing Assistant

Job Summary
Flint Hills Spas is the area's leader in sales and service of hot tubs, swim spas, saunas, and more. With 2 stores in Wichita, we are a family owned company, we dress casual, sell fun products, and laugh alot! Interested in joining our team? We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our Parts & Service team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management processes that keep us running smoothly. Your efforts will help ensure timely purchasing of products and optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate is uber-organized, computer/tech-savvy, and eager to contribute to a fun and dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

• Accurately place product orders and monitor status.
• Track order status and delivery schedules.
• Maintain comprehensive records of procurement activities.
• Vendor communications.
• Help monitor inventory levels.
• Assist Service Manager with work order in-take and service tech scheduling.
• Develop and distribute reports.
• Maintain customer files.
• Assist customers in store as needed.

Experience

• Purchasing/procurement background, or similar background. Basic knowledge of procurement processes is required.
• Hyper-strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented.
• Extensive background with various computer programs including MS Excel, MS Word, and other.
• Ability to work independently. Self-starter.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
