Purchasing Assistant

This is a full-time, 100% on-site role for a Purchasing Assistant located in the Hunts Point Market. The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for creating and tracking purchase orders, supporting procurement activities, maintaining vendor relationships, tracking inventory, and monitoring supply levels. Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external suppliers is critical to the role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Purchasing, and Procurement
• Experience with creating and managing Purchase Orders
• Strong Communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Proficiency in SageX3 is a plus
• Prior experience in supply chain management in the food industry is advantageous
