  • Reviews inventory positions and analyzes raw material inventory needs across multiple product lines.
  • Reviews inventory positions and analyzes inventory needs across multiple product lines

for non-manufactured items.

  • Interacts with sales, finance, marketing, and operations teams to manage logistics of finished goods
  • Places purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Provides assistance to related departments when applicable (supplier invoice discrepancies with accounting, non-conforming material, supplier root cause and corrective actions with quality).
  • Understands basic principles of supplier lead time, inventory days on hand, demand variability and forecasting.
  • Interacts with suppliers to manage portfolio including forecast, ordering, and expediting of material.
  • Reviews current work practices and looks for opportunities to streamline and more effectively manage process.
  • Attends period close physical inventories and provides analytical and physical support.
  • Provides reports and analytical allied data to purchasing manager.
  • Monitors and expedites material when needed.
  • Participates in process improvement projects as needed.
  • Follows all safety procedures and participate in safety training.
  • Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by fostering an environment that embodies trust and respect.
  • Participates and practices BRC rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to focus on the details.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with personnel at all levels within the organization to obtain, discuss, and analyze information and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and manage conflict tactfully with quick resolution.
  • Resourceful with exceptional problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to understand, develop and refine processes.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Dynamics AX is a plus.
  • Occasionally willing and able to lift and move up to 50 pounds for physical inventory.
