As Yapıchem Kimya continues to grow, we are expanding our team and seeking a Purchasing Executive who will play a key role in driving our growth and contributing to our continued success.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry from a reputable university,
• Minimum 7 years of technical/raw material purchasing or procurement expertise in the Chemical sector, (Experience in the construction chemicals business is a plus.),
• Proven experience in direct purchasing, with excellent negotiation and supplier management skills,
• Great interdepartmental communication skills,
• Fluent in both written and verbal English,
• Extensive knowledge of import operations and customs regulations,
• Able to take domestic and international business trips,
• Proficiency in MS office and purchasing modules of ERP programs,
• Great communication, analytic thinking, problem solving and negotiation skills,
• Residence in the Anatolian side of Istanbul is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for the purchasing of raw materials from the best possible domestic and international sources,
• Should be able to procure the best value, quality and diversification of raw materials,
• Researching and evaluating the right suppliers with the best Cost/Quality results, and to continually find alternative sources to expand the supplier portfolio,
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to achieve the best value,
• Ensure timely delivery of materials in alignment with production schedules and inventory targets,
• Collaborate with internal departments, including R&D, production, and logistics, to understand material needs and optimize the procurement process,
• Ensure that suppliers are constantly reviewed about their performance and practices,
• Ensure that purchased products meet the required standards and specifications.
