Procurement Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering,
• 0-2 years experience in a related position,
• Preferably experienced in procurement departments in construction companies,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• German is a plus,
• Advanced user of MS Office Programs,
• Strong communication skills, team worker,
• Analytical thinker, compatible, agile, enthusiastic, positive and energetic.
• No restriction to travel and abroad, able to relocate for a project.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions,
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements,
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns,
• Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings,
• Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies,
• Coordinate with engineering for evaluations of vendor/technical quotes.
