Purchasing Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop purchasing / sourcing strategies based on company goals & planning new purchasing demand to make them ready for serial production , securing them with a commercial agreements
• Following up new technologies under his/her responsibilities.
• Drive the procurement strategies / alternative solutions in order to meet cost savings targets
• Define and maintain category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data
• Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy
• Negotiate with suppliers on cost, lead-time and quality with related division coordination

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering department and/ or Business faculty
• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in Purchasing and/or Electronic sector ( Defence, EMS etc)
• Good knowledge of MS office programs, and ERP knowledge
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving skills ,decision making skilll under pressure
• Function ability and experience in a cross-functional team environment
• Good command of English, both written and spoken,
• Living or willing to live in Ankara
