Python Automation Engineer (Selenium)

Rinova builds agentic AI solutions that work within EHRs and payer portals to automate complex workflows such as eligibility verification, claim submission, payment posting and denials management.In this role, you will work directly on the Rinova product, helping to build, shape and deliver AI-driven systems that solve real operational problems for clinics, hospitals and billing teams across the US healthcare ecosystem.

We are looking for a Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation agents that streamline workflows, orchestrate system interactions, and reduce operational overhead. This role focuses on building intelligent, event-driven automation , not QA or test automation.

You will work on developing autonomous agents, integrating APIs, automating system-level processes, and deploying scalable automation solutions across multiple platforms. The role requires strong software engineering skills, deep Python expertise, and the ability to build reliable automation that operates in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based automation agents and services
• Build agents that interact with web applications, APIs, databases, and internal systems
• Use Selenium and/or Playwright for browser-based automation where APIs are unavailable
• Develop event-driven and scheduled automation workflows
• Integrate agents with third-party systems and internal tools
• Implement robust logging, monitoring, retries, and exception handling
• Optimize automation performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to automate business workflows
• Identify repetitive or manual processes and replace them with automated agents

Job Specification

• Proven experience as an Automation Engineer , Software Engineer (Automation) , or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with Python (production-grade code)
• Experience building automation agents, bots, or background workers
• Practical experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for web automation (non-QA use cases)
• Experience with REST APIs , databases, queues, and system integrations
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
• Experience with asynchronous processing, scheduling, and task orchestration
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, automation-heavy environment
