(QA) Analyst
Experience Required: 1–2 Years
Shift time: 6pm-3am onsite
Position Summary
We are looking for a QA Analyst with 1–2 years of experience to support the quality assurance of web and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will execute manual and automated testing, identify and document defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects using test management and issue-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Support test automation initiatives using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python or TypeScript.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Validate software releases and confirm that quality standards and business requirements are met.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and automation practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, Software Testing Life Cycle, and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and a basic understanding of test automation concepts.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar test management and defect-tracking tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Python or TypeScript.
- Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Understanding of automation frameworks, selectors, assertions, test execution, and reporting.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and database testing.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with Git or other version-control tools.
- Experience with healthcare or electronic health record applications, such as Epic, is an advantage.
