Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst 2 to join our QA team. In this role, you will independently design and execute complex test cases, identify and document intricate defects, and help drive the quality strategy for our software. We are looking for professionals with 2–4 years of experience who possess a deep understanding of QA methodologies and the ability to take a lead role in testing efforts. In addition to advanced testing, this role includes providing first-level support for tech-related inquiries, identifying recurring issue trends, and delivering technical training to user-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation and refinement of test plans, ensuring they align with project goals, timelines, and quality standards
• Identify high-risk areas of the application and prioritize testing efforts accordingly, providing input on strategies to mitigate potential risks
• Independently design comprehensive test cases covering a wide range of scenarios including edge cases, negative testing, and usability checks
• Take a lead role in executing regression test suites and identifying areas where automation can enhance efficiency
• Perform in-depth analysis of complex defects, working closely with developers to understand root causes and provide actionable reports
• Use defect tracking tools to monitor the lifecycle of defects and generate reports to track trends for process improvement
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure that all requirements are testable and quality standards are met
• Provide first-level support for tech-related inquiries and identify recurring issues to address root causes with development teams
• Develop and deliver training sessions, webinars, or guides to enhance the technical knowledge of user-facing support teams

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Advanced understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and end-to-end defect life cycle management.
• Proven hands-on experience with QA and bug-tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, and Zephyr.
• Proficient in API testing using Postman or Swagger, including validation of response codes, payloads, and authentication.
• Experience testing across Android/iOS devices, browsers, and OS versions and familiarity with tools like BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab, or Xcode simulators.
• Familiarity with Apple and Google app store release guidelines and proactive management of tasks for regression cycles and weekly releases.
• Proficiency with tools like Sentry for analyzing crash reports and supporting root cause investigation of customer issues.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL for database verification and data integrity checks.
