Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our QA team. In this role, you will execute manual test cases, identify and document defects, and help ensure our software meets high quality standards before release. We are looking for motivated professionals with 0–2 years of experience who have a solid understanding of QA fundamentals and a strong willingness to learn and grow. In addition to testing, this role includes first-level support, assisting in investigating user-reported issues and coordinating with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a solid understanding of the product, users, and business context to ensure testing reflects real-world scenarios
• Create and update test cases as product functionality evolves
• Prepare and manage accurate test data for effective test execution
• Perform manual testing including regression, acceptance, exploratory, smoke, and API testing
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence
• Collaborate with developers to support defect analysis and resolution
• Maintain accurate test documentation, execution results, and defect records
• Provide first-level support for tech-related inquiries and identify recurring issues to address root causes with development teams
• Assist in creating and updating user guides and internal documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect life cycle management.
• Hands-on experience with QA and bug-tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, and Zephyr.
• Proficient in API testing using Postman or Swagger, including validation of response codes, payloads, and authentication.
• Experience testing across Android/iOS devices, browsers, and OS versions and familiarity with tools like BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab, or Xcode simulators.
• Basic familiarity with Apple and Google app store release guidelines and proactive management of tasks for regression cycles and weekly releases.
• Working knowledge of SQL for database verification and data integrity checks.

Nice to have skills

• Familiarity with tools like Sentry, NewRelic for analyzing crash reports and supporting root cause investigation of customer issues.
