QA Automation Manager

We are seeking a talented QA Automation Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts and establish best practices for automation testing within the development team. As a QA Automation Manager, you will oversee the automation strategy, develop testing frameworks, and ensure that the development and product teams are set up for success in building high-quality software. Your expertise in both manual and automated testing will play a crucial role in driving our commitment to delivering a seamless user experience. Responsibilities

• • Develop and implement a robust automation testing strategy that aligns with product goals and timelines.
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices for testing and automation.
  • Design and maintain testing frameworks and test automation tools.
  • Collaborate with product management and development teams to define testing requirements and create automated test suites.
  • Analyze test results, report defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Establish metrics for automation efficiency and effectiveness, continuously improving the QA process.
  • Conduct regular reviews of test results and provide feedback for product improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends in testing technology and methodologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automation.
• Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong programming skills in one or more scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies including Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
