We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our Karachi office and help ensure our product is reliable, accurate, and ready for customers.

About the Role

As a QA Engineer at ConnectLoop, you will be responsible for testing our web application, AI agent workflows, APIs, integrations, dashboards, and customer-facing features. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to identify issues, document bugs, verify fixes, and help improve the overall quality of the platform.

This is an in-office role based in Karachi, and the candidate is expected to work from the office 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and QA checklists.
• Perform manual testing for web applications, admin dashboards, APIs, and AI-powered features.
• Test end-to-end user flows such as sign-up, onboarding, AI agent setup, chat, lead capture, appointment booking, and CRM integrations.
• Evaluate AI agent behavior for accuracy, hallucinations, conversation flow, lead qualification quality, and overall user experience based on the Product Requirements.
• Test integrations with tools such as CRMs, email platforms, calendars, WhatsApp, and other third-party systems.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Linear, or similar platforms.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Perform regression testing before releases.
• Perform performance testing.
• Maintain and update QA documentation including test cases, regression suites, release checklists, and testing procedures.
• Participate in release validation, smoke testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities before production deployments.
• Validate lead data, CRM synchronization, analytics events, and workflow execution to ensure data accuracy across systems.
• Ability to analyze application logs, API responses, and error reports to assist with troubleshooting.
• Test APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Ensure the product works properly across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
• Help improve QA processes, release standards, and product quality.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience with manual testing of web applications.
• Good understanding of QA processes, test planning, bug reporting, and regression testing.
• Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Familiarity with browser developer tools for debugging network requests, console errors, and frontend issues.
• Good understanding of application performance, page load behavior, and responsiveness testing.
• Ability to write clear, detailed, and well-structured bug reports.
• Good understanding of software development workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with developers, product managers, and designers.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where processes evolve rapidly and team members take ownership across multiple areas.
• Ability to work from the Karachi office 5 days a week.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
• Experience testing AI chatbots, AI agents, or machine learning products.
• Experience testing SaaS, CRM, calendar, email, or messaging integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Understanding of usability, performance, and security testing.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-moving AI startup environment. You should be able to test products from both a technical and user perspective. Since ConnectLoop is building AI-powered sales agents, you should also be comfortable reviewing AI responses and making sure the experience feels accurate, professional, and useful for customers.
