About the Role
We are seeking a motivated QA Intern who is eager to learn modern testing practices and contribute to delivering high-quality software. You will work closely with QA Engineers and Developers in an Agile environment to test applications, build test scripts, and learn tools used in real-world software QA.Responsibilities
- Assist in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test data for web/mobile applications.
- Perform manual functional testing, UI testing, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Learn and support automation testing using Selenium / Playwright / Cypress.
- Help execute API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, standups, refinement, and retros.
- Assist in maintaining bug reports, documenting defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Work on test documentation: test plans, test summary reports.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
- Learn CI/CD pipeline basics (GitHub Actions / Jenkins).
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of manual testing concepts: test cases, test scenarios, defect lifecycle.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python / Java / JavaScript).
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web behavior.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn automation frameworks.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.
- Experience with API testing tools.
- Knowledge of Git & version control.
- Basic SQL queries.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.

Pay: Rs10,000.00 - Rs30,000.00 per month
