QA Trainee

Job Description:
As a Junior Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify, document, and resolve software defects, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Participate in requirement review sessions to understand testing needs.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised.
• Maintain and update test documentation and reports.
• Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0-6 months of experience in software testing or QA roles.
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs10,000.00 - Rs20,000.00 per month
