Job Summary:
The QA/QC Engineer (Civil) is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with Ashghal standards, Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), and project quality requirements. The role involves implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with Ashghal requirements.
- Review and prepare Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and quality procedures.
- Conduct site inspections for civil works including roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with QCS and Ashghal standards in all project activities.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients (Ashghal), and subcontractors for inspections and approvals.
- Prepare and submit material submittals, MIRs, and ensure approvals before execution.
- Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain all QA/QC documentation, reports, and records.
- Conduct internal audits and site quality checks.
- Ensure proper testing of materials through approved laboratories.
- Monitor site activities and ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
- Support project team to achieve quality objectives and timely project delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in QA/QC for infrastructure or road projects
- Mandatory experience in Ashghal projects in Qatar
- Strong knowledge of QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications)
- Experience in road works, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure projects
Certifications:
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification (Preferred)
- UPDA/MMUP Certification (Preferred)

Working Conditions:
- Site-based role (Ashghal Project)
- 6 days working week
- May require extended working hours based on project requirements
Note: Candidates with prior Ashghal project experience will be given preference due to strict compliance and quality standards.
