Job Description

Arkiten International Contracting LLC is looking for a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer with 2 years of experience to oversee quality control for our structural steel and tensile membrane installations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all site works, material deliveries, welding/bolting connections, and fabric integrations strictly align with approved shop drawings and international engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, fabricated steel components, and tensile membranes against approved material submittals and mill certificates.
• Supervise on-site execution, verifying steel alignment, torqueing of bolts, weld quality, and the precise tensioning/wrinkle-free installation of fabric membranes.
• Issue, monitor, and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when material or installation quality falls short of project specifications.
• Coordinate seamlessly with Arkiten's project management, client consultants, and main contractors for stage-wise structural inspections and sign-offs.
• Maintain a flawless quality dossier, including material receiving logs, welding logs, and inspection test plans (ITP).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of QA/QC experience directly related to structural steelwork, pre-engineered buildings (PEB), or specialized tensile fabric structures.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting structural steel fabrication drawings, connection details, and architectural layouts.
• Sharp eye for structural tolerances, alignment verification, and geometric accuracy.

• Transportation: All work-related transport during active project deployments will be fully provided and managed by Arkiten.
• Accommodation: If an active project site is located a significant distance from Dubai (preventing a daily commute), company accommodation will be provided. For projects within standard commuting distance or during periods without active site assignments, the candidate is responsible for their own permanent accommodation and daily commute to the office/base.

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
