QA/QC Engineer – Aluminum

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer – Aluminum to ensure that all aluminum works (façade, glazing, curtain wall, doors, windows, and cladding) comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of aluminum systems, fabrication, and installation processes, with hands-on experience in quality control and assurance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project-specific QA/QC plans for aluminum works.
• Conduct inspections of materials, fabrication, and installation at all stages.
• Review and approve method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on quality-related matters.
• Ensure all aluminum works comply with project drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records, inspection logs, and test reports.
• Provide training and guidance to site teams on quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in aluminum fabrication/installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum systems (façade, curtain wall, glazing, cladding, doors & windows).
• Familiarity with international standards (ASTM, BS, EN, AAMA) and project QA/QC procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC software tools.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
• ISO 9001 certification (preferred).
