QA/QC Engineer (Civil – Interior Fit-Out)

We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer with a Civil Engineering background and a minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure project compliance with specifications, standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) as per company and project requirements.
• Conduct inspections for interior fit-out works including gypsum, joinery, flooring, ceilings, painting, tiling, and finishes.
• Ensure materials and workmanship comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams for inspections and approvals.
• Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test results, and handover documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor works and ensure quality compliance.
• Assist in project handover and snag-list clearance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out companies (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, methods, and finishing standards.
• Familiar with UAE construction standards, codes, and authority requirements.
• Proficient in documentation, reporting, and coordination.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
