- Inspect incoming materials, components, and products to ensure compliance with required specifications and standards.
- Review MTCs, inspection reports, and certificates from vendors and mills.
- Prepare and maintain inspection documents, including Material Test Certificates (MTC), ITPs, and QAPs.
- Coordinate with 3rd party inspection agencies and clients for quality-related matters.
- Perform stage-wise inspections and final inspections before dispatch.
- Handle customer complaints related to quality and provide corrective and preventive action.
- Support procurement and sales teams by verifying technical specifications during the quotation and order stages.
- Ensure products conform to relevant codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, DIN, API, etc.
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability of products and inspections.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with company quality policies and ISO procedures.
- Liaise with EPC clients and contractors for technical clarification and quality approval.
- Keep records of rejected materials and ensure proper disposition.
