Position Objectives:

To ensure that all structural and architectural works meet project quality, safety, and compliance requirements. The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing quality assurance and control procedures, maintaining ISO-aligned Quality Management Systems, and verifying that all construction activities conform to project specifications, standards, and client expectations.


Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) system in accordance with project specifications and company standards.
  • Support the establishment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO requirements.
  • Conduct inspections for structural and architectural works, including reinforcements, embedments, finishes, and installations.
  • Review and verify construction drawings, method statements, and specifications for technical compliance.
  • Monitor and document site activities, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform internal audits, inspections, and quality reviews, ensuring timely closure of findings and NCRs.
  • Prepare and review material submittals, inspection requests, and test reports.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on quality standards, inspection procedures, and best practices.
  • Support root cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive measures, and promote a “Right First Time” quality culture.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.
  • Participate in project meetings to communicate quality issues, risks, and improvement actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and audit documentation.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a QA/QC Engineer in structural or architectural projects.
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC documentation and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of international quality and safety standards.
  • Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
  • Proficient in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and/or Internal Auditor (preferred).
