Job Summary

KOREV Construction & General Contracting L.L.C. is looking for a qualified QA/QC & Material Engineer with experience in UAE construction and infrastructure projects, particularly projects associated with DMT / Abu Dhabi City Municipality. The successful candidate will be responsible for quality assurance, quality control, material approvals, technical submissions, inspections, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit technical material submittals for client and consultant approval.
• Prepare Method Statements for various work activities.
• Prepare and manage Material Inspection Requests (MIR).
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Table A, and Table B documents.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and project teams.
• Monitor compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Work on the closure of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and SORs.
• Maintain QA/QC records, reports, and documentation.
• Assist in quality audits and site inspections.
• Ensure all materials and work activities comply with DMT / Abu Dhabi Municipality requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the UAE as a QA/QC Engineer or Material Engineer.
• Experience working on DMT / Abu Dhabi City Municipality Projects.
• Strong knowledge of material submittals, MIRs, ITPs, and quality documentation.
• Familiarity with NCR and SOR closure procedures.
• Good understanding of UAE construction standards and specifications.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation software.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure, road works, or utility projects.
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality submission procedures.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
