About the Role:
Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team as an Manager Digital Marketing who is responsible to lead and elevate the QDF brand by driving traffic to the company's web platforms and optimize the digital results by developing, implementing and overseeing long-term digital marketing campaigns including processes and ways of working as well as advertising techniques through a range of digital channels.
Operations:
Manage and monitor the usage of the allocated budget with a clear directive to optimize performances and financial impacts.
Maintain strong awareness of new and emerging solutions and channels through outside vendors as well as internal stakeholders to enable the digital team to deliver performance.
Monitors closely the day-to-day operation within the digital ecosystem by providing regular tracking and reports to the leadership teams to ensure alignment with established processes.
Support the digital marketing team by managing the planning and execution of digital and marketing activities across all touchpoints to deliver the best possible outcome from the digital activations.
Be the primary owner of the KPIs and monitor daily performances per channel, paid and owned across all regions to ensure data-driven decision making is benefiting the operations.
Maintain regular interactions with all relevant stakeholders including pricing, Loyalty, CRM, marketing, Digital and external stakeholders.
Propose efficient media options from various partners to achieve targeted KPIs.
Responsible for the continuous monitoring of competition to understand innovations and solutions offered.
Ensure full understanding of online attribution modelling and usage of digital tech stack to navigate effectively digital tools.

About you:
High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 9 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience
Essential
Strong experience required in marketing and digital marketing
Previous positions in a managerial marketing role required
Previous experience in driving digital marketing agenda with large corporations is a must
Experience in media buy, partnerships, performance marketing and loyalty marketing
Expertise in digital tracking and monitoring aspects as well as reporting tools
Communication – Expert - be able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and business partners and maintain clear, concise communication
Creativity – Expert - be able to generate creative ideas and innovative solutions
Analytical skills – Expert - be able to understand and analyze data, market, industry and customer behavior trends
Market knowledge – Expert - be able to understand market and industry trends and keep abreast of changes in competitors, the industry and customer preferences
Project Management – Competent - be able to manage complex projects on time and on budget. They must be able to coordinate the various stakeholders and resolve problems that arise along the way
Data analytical tools – Expert - Proficiency in data analysis tools, like Excel, SQL, Python, R, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly and D3
Strategic thinking – Expert - be able to think strategically to design effective action plans and identify growth opportunities, define clear objectives and measure the results of the campaigns
Problem-solving – Expert - Ability to identify, analyze to find the best solutions by using critical thinking, logic, creativity and communication
Team Work – Expert - Collaborative effort by working with various team seamlessly to provide the highest possible service to guests
Attention to details – Expert - Meticulous in every aspect of service delivery and deep understanding of the desires and needs of guests
Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members
