Job Summary:
Responsible for inspecting welding activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures, project specifications, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect weld fit-up, joint preparation, and completed welds.
- Verify WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications.
- Monitor welding parameters and consumable control.
- Coordinate and witness NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT).
- Ensure compliance with American Welding Society (AWS), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and American Petroleum Institute (API) codes.
- Prepare inspection reports and raise NCRs when required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering.
- CWI (AWS) or CSWIP certification.
- 3+ years of welding inspection experience.
- Knowledge of welding processes and NDT methods.
