QC WELDING INSPECTOR

Job Summary:
Responsible for inspecting welding activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures, project specifications, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect weld fit-up, joint preparation, and completed welds.
• Verify WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications.
• Monitor welding parameters and consumable control.
• Coordinate and witness NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT).
• Ensure compliance with American Welding Society (AWS), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and American Petroleum Institute (API) codes.
• Prepare inspection reports and raise NCRs when required.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering.
• CWI (AWS) or CSWIP certification.
• 3+ years of welding inspection experience.
• Knowledge of welding processes and NDT methods.
