QCDD Approved Fire Life Safety Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and QCDD Approved Fire & Life Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fire protection systems, life safety design, and QCDD compliance for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and approve fire protection and life safety systems for building projects in compliance with QCDD regulations.
• Prepare and review fire alarm, sprinkler, and suppression system layouts.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation of fire systems.
• Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and civil teams to integrate safety systems.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for QCDD submission.
• Ensure all systems meet NFPA standards and Qatar Civil Defence requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on life safety issues.
• Assist in fire risk assessments and emergency planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in ,Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering.
• QCDD Approved Engineer certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years experience in fire protection and life safety engineering in Qatar or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, fire alarm systems, sprinklers, and firefighting equipment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
