Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced QHSE Implementation & Training Officer to oversee Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) compliance across our fire protection projects. The successful candidate will conduct site inspections, ensure compliance with safety regulations, train employees and subcontractors, implement QHSE procedures, and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits at project locations.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and company QHSE policies.
- Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.
- Monitor work activities to ensure safe work practices, especially for fire protection installations and maintenance works.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safety reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and clients on QHSE matters.
- Maintain QHSE records, training matrices, and compliance documentation.
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with work-at-height, hot work, and confined space requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years of QHSE experience
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and industry standards.
- Experience conducting site safety training and audits.
- Valid UAE Driving License (preferred).
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Certification.
- ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 knowledge.
- Experience with MEP or fire protection projects.
