QHSE Officer

We are hiring QHSE Officer / Supervisor for manufacturing company based in UAE.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QHSE Officer / Supervisor to oversee Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to company standards, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce QHSE policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, ISO standards, and company requirements
• Coordinate toolbox talks, safety training, and employee awareness programs
• Monitor PPE usage and safe working practices across operational areas
• Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain QHSE documentation, records, and audit reports
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and management teams on safety and quality matters
• Assist during external audits, inspections, and certifications

Requirements

• Experience in QHSE roles within manufacturing, fabrication, construction, oil & gas, or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations and quality management systems
• Familiarity with ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
• Good understanding of incident investigation and risk assessment processes
• Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• 3–8 years of relevant QHSE experience
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting systems

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per hour
