Qlik Administrator

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Qlik Administrator with strong expertise managing complex, enterprise scale Qlik Sense & NPrinting environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multi-node architecture , automated deployments , Azure/M365 integrations , and security controls in regulated industries such as banking.

The candidate will also support development teams and help enforce best practices across the Qlik ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration

• Administer and maintain Qlik Sense Enterprise multi-node clusters , ensuring stability, availability, and optimal performance.
• Perform installation, upgrades, patching, and configuration of all Qlik services (QRS/QES/QPS/Scheduler).
• Manage reload tasks, streams, custom properties, data connections, monitoring apps, and certificates.

Azure & Microsoft 365 Integration

• Integrate Qlik with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for SSO, authentication, and user provisioning.
• Manage groups, identity governance, conditional access & token-based authentication in Azure AD.
• Configure or Manage Qlik integrations with Microsoft 365 services such as:
• SharePoint Online
• OneDrive for Business
• Azure SQL
• Azure Storage
• Teams-based sharing workflows
• Experience with OAuth2, JWT, and Azure App Registrations for Qlik connectivity.

Qlik Mobile

• Configure and support Qlik Sense Mobile for iOS/Android.
• Assist with mobile SSO, authentication profiles, and MDM/Intune app distribution.
• Troubleshoot mobile performance, offline availability, and device policy issues.

Security & Compliance

• Design and maintain Security Rules , Section Access, and enterprise level access governance.
• Integrate with AD / Azure AD, maintain audit trails, and ensure banking grade compliance standards.
• Oversee certificates, tokens, and secure connection configurations.

Automation & CI/CD

• Automate Qlik administration using:
• Qlik CLI
• PowerShell
• Python
• REST APIs
• Third-party DevOps tools
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for Qlik app deployments across DEV → UAT → PROD.
• Implement automated monitoring, alerts, and health checks.

Disaster Recovery & High Availability

• Participate in DR architecture design, testing, and execution.
• Help develop backup + restore procedures for apps, metadata, and nodes.
• Experience with high availability (HA) and failover configurations (preferred).

Development Support

• Assist development teams with:
• Qlik scripting
• Data modelling
• QVD layer optimization
• Dashboard performance tuning
• Troubleshoot reload failures, connectivity issues, extensions, and QRS/QES errors.

Governance & Best Practices

• Implement governance models suitable for highly regulated organizations.
• Define and maintain best practices for app lifecycle management, data sources, naming conventions, and versioning.

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Work with cloud, security, networking, infrastructure, DBA, and BI teams.
• Support business users and provide platform guidance and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of Qlik Sense Enterprise administration experience.
• Strong expertise in multi-node architecture management.
• Experience integrating Qlik with Azure AD / Microsoft 365 ecosystems .
• Skill in designing/maintaining Security Rules , Section Access, and AD/Azure AD roles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines , REST APIs, CLI automation.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Qlik script).
• Experience working in banking or large-scale corporate environments.
• Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Qlik Sense Mobile administration.
• Disaster Recovery (DR) experience.
• Qlik Sense System Administrator Certification.
• Experience with Qlik Cloud or hybrid environments
