- Cost estimation and budgeting:
- Preparing initial cost estimates for projects.
- Analyzing rates for different construction items.
- Documentation:
- Preparing bills of quantities (BoQ) and bills of materials.
- Creating and submitting monthly bills to the accounts department.
- Preparing tender and contract documents.
- Billing and payment:
- Generating and verifying interim and final bills for clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Reconciling billed quantities with paid quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Processing payments for subcontractors and vendors.
- Financial control and reporting:
- Tracking project progress, cash flow, and material reconciliation.
- Maintaining detailed records of project costs, variations, and billing reports.
- Providing MIS (Management Information System) inputs to project managers.
- Site and technical work:
- Extracting quantities from drawings and technical documents.
- Coordinating with site teams to gather information on materials and labor.
- Verifying the quality of work and ensuring it aligns with specifications.
- Managing and documenting extra items and variations in work.
