Business Unit Purpose

Job Purpose
Under general supervision, monitor and verify the implementation of the Quality System across departments through daily record checks, inspections, and audits to ensure full compliance with established work procedures and quality standards.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System across all departments by conducting random daily checks, reporting on compliance, and verifying proper use of documentation and forms.
Identify and report any practices or activities not aligned with established procedures or documented work instructions.
Assist senior Quality staff in verifying corrective actions for non-conformances (NCRs) and contribute to developing solutions for recurring issues.
Inspect completed or partial flights, meals, products, and operational processes as directed by senior Quality staff.
Represent senior Quality staff during assigned shifts as per the approved roster, ensuring continuity of quality oversight at all times.
Report all customer or internal complaints received during the shift to the senior Quality team for prompt action.
Support the department in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001:2000 standards, ensuring that all responsibilities align with EKFC*s Quality Policy and departmental procedures.
Perform other quality-related duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the Quality System.

The Quality Assistant plays a key supporting role in maintaining these standards by monitoring adherence to the Quality System, ensuring that all quality records are accurately completed, and verifying that documented procedures are consistently applied by all staff.
Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience
Educational Qualification:
O-Level or A-Level in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent qualification (mandatory).
Additional certifications in Quality Assurance or ISO systems (preferred).
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 years* experience in a Quality Control function within an ISO-regulated environment.
Completion of on-the-job and mandatory quality-related training.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
