The Facilities Management Division is looking for highly qualified candidate to fill the role of
Quality Control Coordinator
. This position is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, updating, and reporting utilities (electric, water, sewer, gas, etc.) through our energy reporting software system. In return, we offer stability with excellent benefits, including membership in the State of Florida Retirement System.

Job Description
General Functions:
Assists in coordinated efforts to ensure quality assurance standards are met and thoroughly researched. The position is responsible for professional work requiring technical knowledge and communications skills.
The position requires independent judgment and initiative. Work is performed under supervision of assigned supervisor and is evaluated for maintaining quality standards across the programs and projects with respect to the established goals.
Representative Duties/Assignments:
Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties; it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.

Analyzes high and low performance of county buildings by cost and usage through online portals including EnergyCap, ENERGY STAR, OUC, and Duke Energy. Tracks performance of the implemented Energy Conservation Measures, Water Conservation Measures, Natural Gas saving projects.

Tracks performance of the implemented Energy Conservation Measures, Water Conservation Measures, Natural Gas saving projects.

RPerform bill audits to find billing errors, late fees, etc. Review data and run reports to identify inefficient facilities through benchmarking.

Enters data to calculate and report on cost avoidance (M&V) attributable to energy management projects.

Enters data and reports on ENERGY STAR ratings of County facilities.

Monitors service areas, performance and maintenance standards, within the division to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and accreditation standards.

Oversees local policy and verification procedures in coordination with Orange County Policies and standards.

Collects and analyzes needs, assessment data points, surveys and researches to ensure efficiency of operations and effectiveness of programs.

Oversight of Quality Assurance and Process Improvement programs.

Coordinates with internal and external programs regarding quality assurance and training activities. Provides feedback, mentoring and coaching.

Performs research and prepares action plans. Performs field evaluations and follow-up reviews.

Monitors maintenance of program records to ensure contractual and legal requirements are met and professional standards are maintained.

Performs other related duties as assigned..
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Human Services, Health, Public or Business Administration or a closely related field and one year of experience in project management or quality assurance; or an equivalent of combination of relevant education or experience. Previous experience in energy or utilities reporting systems
Preferences:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Human Services, Health, Public or Business Administration or a closely related field and one year of experience in project management or quality assurance; or an equivalent of combination of relevant education or experience.
Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Maximo.
Ability to provide own transportation to perform work related duties.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Possess a Florida Driver's License at time of hire.

Selected candidates will be required to provide employment references and will be required to complete a pre-employment drug, physical and background check.
Normal work hours may be 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The initial Maintenance District assignment will be Facilities Management Administration.
Work hours may include, weekends, after-hours, and post hurricane response due to operational needs.
