Quality Assurance Engineer (SaaS)

As a QA Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software. You will work closely with developers, managers, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and execute test strategies that uphold the high standards our clients expect. You’ll help us build scalable, automated, and efficient test processes within a fast-paced, agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and API-based applications.
• Participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback on testability, risks, and quality.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks and scripts using modern tools and languages.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to ensure thorough testing of new features and fixes.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira, and assist in root cause analysis.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and practices.
• Advocate for product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

RequirementsMust-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in QA or software testing, ideally within a SaaS environment.
• Solid experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java).
• Experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Excellent understanding of QA methodologies, test types (functional, regression, performance), and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a remote and globally distributed team.
• Very good English communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with AI testing tool like Testim.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• ISTQB or other QA-related certifications.
• Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
