Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Lead to join our fast-paced fashion retail operation in Dubai. This role is central to the continued success of our product lifecycle, requiring not only a deep understanding of fashion quality but also the ability to implement and lead cutting-edge quality assurance strategies . You will be a key player in elevating product quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives , and collaborating across multiple functions to ensure every garment and accessory that reaches our customers embodies the highest levels of excellence.

As a Senior-level professional, you will be expected to lead initiatives, mentor junior team members, and proactively influence product quality practices across all stages of design, production, and delivery. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring that our brand’s commitment to quality, consistency, and innovation is maintained as we scale and evolve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end quality assurance across the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with both internal and global industry standards.

• Spearhead the implementation of advanced QA frameworks (AQL, SPC, risk-based sampling, digital inspection tools) to optimize workflows and drive efficiencies.

• Take ownership of root-cause analysis , implementing robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce recurrence and ensure continuous quality improvement.

• Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers and production teams to ensure that evolving product and compliance standards are met consistently.

• Lead vendor audits , performance evaluations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality expectations across departments.

• Collaborate closely with Design, Production, Buying, and Logistics teams to integrate QA seamlessly into every stage of the product journey.

• Stay ahead of emerging global and regional fashion compliance standards , ensuring that Gloria Jeans maintains its position at the forefront of quality excellence.

• Contribute to the continuous evolution of quality policies, SOPs , and sustainability-compliant processes across the organization.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a senior QA/QC role within fashion retail, apparel manufacturing, or e-commerce.

• In-depth knowledge of garment construction , fabric types, finishing techniques, and fashion product categories.

• Expertise in AQL standards , advanced root cause analysis , and the use of digital QA tools (or a strong desire to adopt emerging technologies).

• Strong analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail and a solid understanding of data analysis in the context of quality assurance.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel or QA software for sophisticated tracking, reporting, and decision-making.

• Experience in luxury fashion retail or a high-volume fashion brand with a strong focus on scalability and quality management .

• Deep understanding of sustainable sourcing practices and experience in managing ethical QA standards .

• Familiarity with ERP systems or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and their integration into QA processes.

• Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships and influencing decisions at the executive level.
