Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

We're Hiring: QA/QC Engineer - Building Construction Projects (United Arab Emirates)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer with a background in civil construction to join our project team in the UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement all quality assurance and control programs as per the project specific quality plan.
• Control and co-coordinate all inspections, sampling and testing activities on site.
• Prepare the inspection and test plans, check-sheets and related procedures for the project.
• Conduct daily site work progress inspections, work completion inspections, and periodical off-site inspections.
• Ensure work methods and best practices are followed at site as per the approved Method Statement, specification and drawings and proactively involve in those to correct any non-conformance during execution itself.
• Ensure all materials delivered to site are inspected and conform to specified requirements.
• Issue and administer Non-Conformance Reports/ Corrective Action Reports /Spot Notices as necessary and ensure follow up for close-out.
• Identify, conduct and arrange quality related trainings as necessary to all the staff in the project.
• Participate in/conduct site quality meetings (including with sub-contractors) to discuss quality performance, identify quality control lapses and plan mitigation measures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 year experience on site in the UAE mainly in high rise buildings
• Familiarity with international standards, codes, QMS (ISO 9001) and best practices in civil construction .
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Certificate in Quality Management System (e.g. Certified ISO Internal Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer) is an added advantage
