· Coordinates with the production department for QC related issues
· Interacting with plant visitors as and when required.
· Solves basic quality problems within prescribed guidelines to ensure final product integrity
· Prepares the Beverage mixing units and Filler ready by carrying out sanitation activities prior to daily production run.
· During production perform all the specified Laboratory tests on line samples at the frequency specified in PI Quality manual.
· Documents obtained test results in the quality sheets as mentioned in the PI manual.
· Performs quality test on PET blown bottles according to the procedures and frequency specified in PI Quality manual.
· Monitors finished product packaging integrity/date coding.
· Calibrates and documents the Lab equipments per frequency specified in the PI Quality manual.
· Controls and monitors syrup preparation and prepare control drinks.
· Ensures all arrived raw material are within specifications by performing quality checks and document the results.
· Ensures QC. Tests are performed at correct frequency at CO2 plant.
· Administrates the concentrate storage, rotation “FIFO” and expiring units.
· Monitors the proper operation of syrup mixing, sugar addition, and final syrup specifications.
· Maintains treated water within specification as outlined in the PI manual.
· Reports to maintenance department any equipment -malfunctions.
· Strictly adheres to Food safety and Hygiene policy & procedures
· Steam boiler, monitors the chemicals dosage and analyzes the Boiler water for conformity
· In the water treatment, carry out annual carbon filter discharge and re-charge as per schedule
· Carries out quality tests on all inbound imported CSD and reports to next level.
· Ensures that proper housekeeping has been carried out in the plant.
