QC Inspector - Electrical & Instrumentation

Location : Ras Laffan

Salary : TBD

Working Hours & Days 10 hours,6 days a week

Duration : 3 months, extendable

* Electrical Engineering Diploma, or suitable equivalent plus Trade Certificates in Electrical and/ or Instrumentation.

* Minimum 8 years of working experience as inspection personnel for Oil & Gas projects, 5 years of which must be in the onshore Gas Facilities sector, preferably in LNG.

* Familiar with electrical and instrumentation specific codes and standards (i.e., IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA, NETA, ATEX/IECEX-60079. etc.).

Experience in inspection activities during procurement, fabrication, installation and hook-up, and commissioning of oil and gas production facilities projects.

* Implement QA/QC activities including those of Subcontractors Works in accordance with approved QCP / ITPs and procedures, method statements and other Contract documents.

* Prepares and sign off applicable records for quality surveillance / inspections / tests.

* Ensure availability of appropriate version of applicable Work documents such as AFC drawings, Specifications and international codes and standards.

Provide sufficient feedback to Quality Manager/Engineer on the day-to-day quality issues
