Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our cigarette manufacturing facility in Baghdad, Iraq. The selected candidate will monitor production quality, ensure product consistency, and uphold international tobacco manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections on cigarette rods, filters, tipping paper, packaging, and finished goods.

Monitor production on machines such as MK8/MK9, SASIB, HLP, etc.

Perform QC tests: weight, moisture, pressure drop, ventilation, circumference, firmness.

Report non-conformities and coordinate with production for corrective actions.

Verify quality of raw materials: cigarette paper, tipping paper, filters, BOPP, foil, glue.

Maintain QC logs, sampling records, and inspection documents.

Ensure compliance with GMP and company safety standards.

Assist production supervisors with troubleshooting product issues.

Ensure adherence to Iraqi standards and international guidelines.

Qualifications:

Experience in cigarette/tobacco QC is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of cigarette specifications and testing parameters.

Ability to use QC testing instruments.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of cigarette raw materials and specifications.

Experience with machinery like MK8, MK9, Protos, HLP, GDM, etc.

Familiar with ISO or GMP procedures.
