Job Summary

PFS Sports is a leading manufacturer of sports flooring systems, polyurethane (PU), epoxy, self-levelling, and specialty coating solutions, supplying projects across the UAE and international markets.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Officer for our UAQ Factory to ensure every batch produced meets strict quality standards. The role involves batch testing, issuing Certificates of Analysis (COA), managing retained samples, maintaining lab equipment calibration, and supporting technical documentation under the guidance of the Head of Production & R&D.

Key Responsibilities

1. Batch Analysis & Testing

• Perform physical and chemical testing on every production batch of all chemicals and materials.
• Conduct viscosity testing, density checks, curing evaluation, hardness testing, and other relevant quality parameters.
• Ensure all products meet internal specifications and approved formulations before release.

2. Certification & Quality Release

• Issue a formal Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every approved batch.
• Verify that no shipment leaves the factory without QC clearance.
• Maintain traceability documentation for audits and client verification.

3. Retention Lab Management (Sample Library)

• Maintain a structured Sample Retention System.
• Collect and store minimum 500g sample of each production batch.
• Properly label, catalog, and organize retained samples for future reference, testing, or dispute resolution.
• Ensure safe and systematic storage conditions.

4. Laboratory Equipment Calibration

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments including:
• Viscometers
• Shore Hardness Testers
• Laboratory Weighing Scales
• Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate periodic servicing of equipment where required.

5. Documentation & Compliance Support

• Assist in updating and reviewing:
• Technical Data Sheets (TDS)
• Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Support R&D and Production in documentation accuracy.
• Maintain proper batch records and quality logs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Min 2–3 years of experience in Quality Control within PU, Epoxy, Construction Chemicals, or Industrial Coatings manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in testing Polyurethane (PU) or Epoxy-based systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
